1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Old Town Totes and your rental of our reusable moving totes and related equipment in Prague. By placing a booking, you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings & rentals
A rental starts at 14 days by default and can be extended in weekly increments at checkout. The items delivered to you remain the property of Old Town Totes at all times and are lent to you for the rental period only.
3. Prices, deposit & payment
All prices are shown in Czech koruna (Kč). Every booking includes a fully refundable 1,000 Kč deposit, returned once we collect the items in good condition. Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we never store your card details.
4. Delivery & collection
We deliver and collect across Prague's 22 districts. Delivery is free on every rental kit; a flat 199 Kč applies only to mid-rental top-up orders. You agree to be available (or arrange access) at the address and time slot you select.
5. Your responsibilities
Please use the crates and equipment reasonably and only for their intended purpose. Do not overload crates beyond their stated capacity or use them for hazardous materials. You are responsible for the items from delivery until we collect them.
6. Damage, loss & late returns
Normal wear and tear is expected and free. Lost or damaged items are charged at replacement cost from your deposit (e.g. a crate or dolly). Late returns may incur additional weekly charges. We'll always contact you before charging anything beyond the agreed amount where possible.
7. Cancellations & changes
You can change or cancel a booking before delivery by contacting us. Once items are delivered, the rental fee applies for the booked period. Refunds for cancellations are processed to your original payment method.
8. Liability
We are not liable for damage to your own belongings during your move, or for delays caused by circumstances outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Czech consumer law.
